Polyolefin resin is the most widely used plastic due to its excellent mechanical properties and processability. However, because of its non-polarity, it lacks adhesive property. So, it is difficult to be used with other resins and easy to be peeled off if it is used in multi-layers products and in coating of metal products.

Increasing number of life styles and growing consumption of plastics require more kinds of composite materials. To meet this requirement, materials have to be changed in proper ways such as 'grafting'. Adhesive resin, in spite of its adhesive property and polarity gained through grafting, still maintains basic property of polyolefin resins.
